THE SUSTAINABILITY INSTITUTE

The Sustainability Institute is a non-profit trust, founded in 1999 and based in Stellenbosch. Through our unique campus and a range of learning offerings, we cultivate the capacity for collective imagination as a vital practice for unlocking just and regenerative futures. We work with all ages to envision and create a more positive future for themselves, for others and society overall, embracing complexity, nature and community – to explore and practice fairer and more balanced ways of being. Our primary participants are the children and youth within Lynedoch Valley, while the work we do with adults and businesses extends both nationally and internationally.

Profits generated through our online short courses, customised training offerings and venue hire directly benefit the various projects for the children and youth in Lynedoch Valley, and ensures that our campus remains an inspiring space for learning to unfold.
